Do you prefer paper or plastic bags at the grocery store? Why?

I love Mother Earth, nature and all, but I honestly prefer plastic bags at the grocery compared to paper bags. One of the reasons is that it has handles, which makes them easier to carry, considering the things that are inside of it.

Second, since I do most of my grocery shopping with my eldest daughter, if I choose the paper bag over the plastic bag, I end up with no free hand to hold her in case she runs around or something.

Lastly, even if I do prefer plastic bags over paper bags, I make sure I use them again and again, like for storing papers, for garbage, or anything I can think of.
