As promised, here's the screenshot of my oDesk earnings for February. For this month, I made a total of Php 31,020.17, a bit more than last month's earnings.

House Season 6 Tuesday, April 27, 2010

I really, really like the TV show House, and I'm enjoying it even more because my husband shares the same fascination as I do with the show. This is definitely one of the shows we watch on TV where he doesn't doze off. He normally starts sleeping after the first few minutes of anything he sees on TV, but with House, it's a different thing.

I already downloaded torrents of Season 6, up to the episode entitled Lockdown. I hope that someone uploads the next episode entitled Knight Fall, but I feel I will need to wait for a couple of more weeks as this episode was aired just last week I think.

A friend of mine posted on his Facebook account though that House was being considered by the network that airs it to be ended already. My husband was devastated when he heard the news - but it is just being considered, something I do hope doesn't materialize.

Gold is definitely one of the things in this world that does not depreciate or lose its value. Also, the prices of gold have been on the rise for many weeks already, and a lot of experts and analysts do not foresee its value going down anytime soon.

The price of gold against the dollar works in an inverse way, and since the dollar is weak, the prices of gold are going up. This is also because of the fact that even though currencies may rise and fall, gold has a stability to it that no currency can match.

Active Fun or Star City? Tuesday, April 20, 2010

Henry and I are planning on going out this evening with the kids. The thing is, we've decided that we're going out, but now we can't decide where we want to go. Whenever we ask Keisha, she wants to go to Active Fun and go down the slide, swim in a pool full of soft balls, and pretty much just roll around the place.

Nicole wants to go where her sister wants to - but she also does want to go to Star City because of the rides. There's a lot of kiddie rides there that kids will surely enjoy, especially Nicole and Keisha. Plus, we can also do some light shopping in the many boutiques there.

As for me, I'm just going where they want to. I like both places, so anywhere they choose works just fine for me.

Stealth Tuesday, April 20, 2010

My husband and I started watching Stealth a few nights ago, a DVD we've had for quite some time now but never got around to watching until then.

Unfortunately, the kids seemed to have gotten ahead of us and already made scratches on the whole back on the DVD. I only got to watch from the first part to the part where EDI came with them during a mission.

I guess I need to download a torrent file for the movie and then watch it when I have the chance.
