What I Like About Vonage

I've been with Vonage for several months, and I honestly have to say that their service is amazing. It's so affordable to the point that it makes you think how they're able to make the service so cheap.

I guess one of the reasons is that it's basically VOIP, and Vonage basically just hooks up with existing services that you already have, like high speed internet service such as cable or DSL, and electricity. And if you're wondering what happens during a power outage or if your internet service is interrupted, Vonage will not work, of course. But they have a feature that's called Network Availability that forwards your incoming calls to a cellphone, your work number, or any other number of your choice in events like those, so you're pretty much assured that there's no way you'll be missing calls, unless you're not home to answer them.

Vonage has over 25 free features, like Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Three Way Calling, Voicemail Plus, Anonymous Call Block, and Do Not Disturb. They're available at no extra charge and some are automatically active but some you need to configure through your online account, wherein you can manage your account on your own free time.
