Getting Paid to Blog through Smorty

Since blog advertising has become so popular, it's no wonder that there are now a lot of sites offering the same service. The promise that bloggers will get paid for blogging sounds like a good deal - you get to keep your blog and at the same time, you earn money from it. Who would have thought that to blog for money would and could actually generate a decent amount of money monthly? Well, it's true, and as advertisers continue to advertise on blogs, bloggers earning money off of their blogs will continue to be a trend that hopefully will stay.

I mentioned in a previous post on what I use my blog for that I accept paid or sponsored posts through different sources. Smorty is the newest resource that I got this blog approved for, and so far, I like what's been happening.

Whenever I log into Smorty, I am pleasantly surprised to find that there are assignments or tasks that I get paid to blog about. The tasks usually pay around $6 per post and some require these posts to be of 150 words or more, which is really easy, honestly. If you have a passion for blogging, you really wouldn't notice that you've already exceeded the number of words required until you check when you're done. Posts that have been completed normally get approved after 5 days, and payment is done weekly through PayPal.

I'm eagerly waiting on getting my first pay from Smorty through PayPal, as the posts I've worked on in the last couple of days have yet to be approved. I haven't even been blogging for Smorty for a week, but I'm proud to say I've already had 8 posts done for them, which is far more than what I've done for other websites I blog for that I've been a member of in months. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll always have tasks to complete with Smorty, so I'll have enough holiday cash for shopping.
